Webently Ads Connector

Privacy and data use

Effective 6 October 2026. This notice describes the private Webently Ads Connector operated by Webently, part of Ambient Lounge Norge AS, org. no. 916815700. Contact info@webently.no about access, deletion or other data questions.

What the connector accesses

Google sign-in provides your verified email address and basic profile to authenticate you. Administrators can separately grant access to Google Ads for reporting and controlled management. Optional grants allow read access to Google Analytics, Search Console and Merchant Center. Account access follows Google's permissions and the connector's user allowlist and role settings.

How data is used and shared

The connector uses Google data to discover accessible accounts, produce reports requested by authorized users, validate proposed changes and execute authorized changes. Requested account data is returned to the compatible AI assistant or MCP client you connect. That client's own data terms also apply. Google processes API requests, and DigitalOcean hosts the connector in Frankfurt, Germany. Authorized Webently administrators can access operational data for administration and troubleshooting.

The connector does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising profiles, or use it to train a general-purpose AI model. Webently Ads Connector's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and protection

The server stores linked login details, encrypted OAuth refresh tokens, an account directory, short-lived report caches, and audit records and snapshots associated with account changes. OAuth secrets and encryption keys are kept in a restricted server configuration. Public connections use HTTPS. Stored tokens are not returned by the connector's tools. Role checks, account controls, previews and confirmation checks restrict advertising changes.

Linked credentials remain until an administrator unlinks the login. Report caches expire; account-directory data and change history are retained for operation and review. This deployment does not currently apply an automatic age-based deletion policy to the account directory or audit history. Backups, when created, are encrypted and may retain older data until removed.

Your choices

Choose the Google logins and optional permissions you grant. An administrator can revoke and unlink a login in the connector's admin page. You can also remove its access through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. Unlinking removes the stored login credential; it does not automatically erase historical account data or change audits. Email info@webently.no to request deletion of retained data or backups. Revoking access does not undo changes already made in Google Ads.

This notice will be updated if the connector's data handling changes.
